   Soulsync is a PvE multiplayer roguelike where you and three friends take the helm to traverse treacherous lands and face uncertain odds. Set in an advanced sci-fi fantasy world, the land is controlled and corrupted by corporate influence.

   A group of 6 adventurers embarks on a dungeon run as employees of the dungeon-running monolith, Mordred Acquisitions Incorporated. 

   Unbeknownst to the party, their employers plan to use them as guinea pigs to study a mysterious curse that lies within the dungeon. Upon clearing the first floor, the party is struck by the curse, linking their lifeforce together. In the ensuing chaos, the dungeon collapses, separating their leader from the rest of the group.

   Now a party of five, the survivors flee, with some holding onto the fading hope that their leader may still be alive. As they trek through forests and swamps, they find the terrain riddled with evidence that the company is invading and destroying natural environments for its own selfish goals. Through this journey, the party bonds, overcomes their differences, and a new hero rises to fill the role of "leader."

   Their path leads to an ancient forge swarmed by hostile company subordinates. At its heart, they find the architect of their demise: a company board member who intends to weaponize the party’s curse.  After revealing the captive former leader, the board member attempts a final execution to tie up the project's loose ends. Still, the party triumphs in the end, escaping the company’s grasp and rescuing their imprisoned comrade.

Tyr


   An old man brought out of retirement for the love of the game, Tyr wants to prove to his friends back home that dungeon running is still worthwhile and show the younger generation how it’s done.

   Tyr is a hunter and an apex ambush predator. Armed with a wrist-mounted crossbow and an arsenal of traps, any target in his sights is "dead on sight".




Ronan


   A professional assassin sent to kill the CEO, Ronan tried to play the long game by climbing the corporate ladder. The company caught on and sent him into the dungeon.

   Ronan is a master of stealth and close-quarters combat, able to dive in and out of the fray, striking with lethal, quick succession.



Percival


   Born as the black sheep of a powerful corporate dynasty, Percival took up dungeon running to finally prove themselves to their family. 

   A noble warrior determined to prove their mettle, Percival charges into battle head-on, armed only with a sword and shield.



ASTR-1D


   ASTR-1D is a mass-produced prototype android created to study the mechanics of magic. She was sent into the cursed dungeon to determine if androids possess a soul, as the dungeon’s curse only affects the living.

   Armed with a massive hammer, she wreaks havoc on the battlefield with heavy, earth-shaking swings of immense power.



Felix


   Born into the slums and left without guidance, Felix eventually slipped into the world of black-market trading. During a deal, he discovered a mysterious grimoire that allows him to summon creatures to his command. With this newfound strength, he turned to dungeon running in hopes of landing the one big score that will pull him out of the gutter.

   An opportunistic man, Felix excels at commanding a variety of creatures to do his bidding on the battlefield.
